The video is shot and edited, so all that remains is audio mixing, soundtrack and credits. And, oh, what credits they shall be! David and I have decided, with a little help from Kara Wall, to produce an animated opening credit sequence for the film. I won't give away all of the details, but here's the first image from the sequence. Stay tuned!

It's a little dark, but you get the point.

Getting Busy

Wow, first post. That's wild stuff. So you may be asking yourself, why hasn't Meatloaf Productions produced anything lately? They were so prolific with Rico's Diamonds, Luftwaffe, The Rotten Corpse, and Nichols & Bryan produced between June and October of 2007. Well, the holidays hit, Brian got a new job, Dave had a baby and production slowed to a minuscule pace. The Rotten Corpse became halted in post-production and the knife throwing movie was shot but stalled soon thereafter as well. Coming Up Shorts was the rumored next stop for the Meatloaf wagon, but the wheels never started spinning. Then, one fateful day in June, Brian and David reconnected amidst their busy schedules and started reviewing old work and, more importantly, started planning future projects. Though the deadline for Coming Up Shorts has passed, we still plan to shoot the idea we had for the contest. It's a special effects laden extravaganza, so it will be post-production heavy but ultimately will be a mind-boggling experience. There are several other projects in the works, including a stylish noir thriller and something about a pair of pants which are too big. The knife throwing movie has started the long editing process and the The Rotten Corpse is weeks from completion. It is a good time to be a fan of Meatloaf Productions. Yes, all two of you.

David and Brian at work on "She Takes Revenge"
